Prominent Achievements in the University of Mansoura

1. I established Interferometry and Fiber Optics laboratory in the Faculty of Science, the University of Mansoura and took part in establishing the Department of Physics in the same institution.

2. Preparing the study concerned with establishing the Sector of Community Service and Environmental Development in the University of Mansoura and taking part in the establishment of this sector.

3. Participating in preparing the study concerned with establishing the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Mansoura (the first cohort graduated in June 1999).

4. Participating in preparing the study concerned with establishing the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Mansoura (the first cohort graduated in June 2000).

5. As the Vice President of the University of Mansoura (1992-94), I have strengthened the relationship between the University and the executive, production, service institutions as well as the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency and the Social Fund for Development.

6. As President of the University of Mansoura and as a Member of the Universities Supreme Council, I have participated in the study prepared for establishing the Faculties of Computer Sciences and Information. The University of Mansoura was one of the first universities to establish such a faculty (the first cohort graduated in June 2000).

7. As President of the University of Mansoura, I participated in establishing and supporting the Communications and Information Technology Center. This service is now available for the University of Mansoura faculties and centers in Mansoura and Damietta.
